Site Supervisor

As a Concrete Plant Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing all site operations related to concrete production, batching, and delivery to ensure quality and efficiency. Your key responsibilities will include: - Supervising all site operations related to concrete production, batching, and delivery to ensure quality and efficiency. - Overseeing safety protocols, organizing toolbox talks, enforcing PPE usage, and conducting routine safety inspections. - Managing workforce scheduling, assigning tasks, and coordinating between site staff, drivers, and plant personnel. - Ensuring concrete production and delivery meet project specifications and customer requirements. - Maintaining plant and equipment by planning preventive maintenance with relevant teams. - Monitoring inventory and supporting the store person to maintain adequate stocks for uninterrupted production. - Preparing progress reports and communicating updates to management and clients. To excel in this role, you should have a deep understanding of RMC production, concrete materials, and plant equipment. Strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal abilities are essential. Familiarity with construction safety regulations and quality standards, as well as proficiency in work scheduling and project management software, are required. Additionally, the ability to read blueprints and technical documents, along with analytical, problem-solving, and incident response skills, will be valuable assets. Typical qualifications for this position include a diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or a construction-related field. A minimum of 15 years of supervisory experience in an RMC plant or similar construction setting is preferred. Safety certifications such as CPR/first aid and knowledge of construction codes are advantageous.
