Responsibilities include conducting preventive and corrective maintenance on machines and utilities, troubleshooting mechanical issues to minimize downtime, maintaining detailed logs of machine breakdowns and service records, collaborating with production for timely support, ensuring safety and compliance during maintenance activities, and assisting in the installation and commissioning of new machinery. The successful candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar maintenance role and hold a Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering. Key skills required include knowledge of pumps, gearboxes, hydraulics, pneumatics, and plant equipment, familiarity with root cause analysis and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) practices is advantageous, and a willingness to work in rotational shifts if necessary.
