Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Job Description: You are required to work as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer with a minimum of 2 years of experience, specifically in managing, maintaining, and troubleshooting mechanical systems within a manufacturing environment. Your role will involve conducting preventive and corrective maintenance of machines and utilities, troubleshooting mechanical issues to minimize downtime, maintaining logs of machine breakdowns and service records, coordinating with production for timely support, ensuring safety and compliance in all maintenance activities, and assisting in the installation and commissioning of new machinery. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance of machines and utilities - Troubleshoot mechanical issues and minimize downtime - Maintain logs of machine breakdowns and service records - Coordinate with production for timely support - Ensure safety and compliance in all maintenance activities - Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery Qualification Required: - Experience: 2+ years in a relevant maintenance role - Qualification: Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering - Skills: - Knowledge of pumps, gearboxes, hydraulics, pneumatics, and plant equipment - Familiarity with root cause analysis and TPM practices is a plus - Willingness to work in shifts if required Additional Company Details: The company operates in the manufacturing, packaging, and polymer industry.
