Site Supervisor (Civil)

As a Site Supervisor (Civil), you play a pivotal role in overseeing day-to-day operations and management of civil construction sites. Your primary responsibility is to ensure all projects are executed efficiently, safely, and within budgetary constraints. Acting as the point of contact between the project management team, contractors, and workers on the ground, this role demands a keen eye for detail, strong leadership capabilities, and a profound understanding of civil engineering best practices and safety standards. By managing schedules, resources, and teams, you drive successful project outcomes, contributing to the overall success and reputation of the organization. Responsibilities include overseeing all aspects of the construction project on-site from start to finish, supervising and coordinating activities of workers and subcontractors efficiently, reviewing construction plans and drawings to ensure compliance with regulations, ensuring all construction activities adhere to established safety regulations and policies, monitoring project progress and preparing detailed reports for project managers, managing the procurement and allocation of materials to ensure timely availability, and handling site inspections to ensure work meets engineering and client standards. Effective communication with project management and stakeholders, identifying and addressing any issues or conflicts on the construction site, implementing quality control programs, facilitating site meetings, and ensuring efficient and cost-effective operations and resource utilization on-site are also key responsibilities. Requirements for this role include a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, a minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory role within construction, strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations, excellent leadership and personnel management skills, proficiency in construction management software and tools, exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills, and availability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
