Job Title: Site HR Executive/Sr. Executive

Department:

Job Purpose:

To lead and manage the entire HR function at the site level, including manpower planning, onboarding, statutory compliance (PF, ESI, labor laws), employee engagement, grievance redressal, industrial relations, and client HR coordination. The role ensures smooth HR operations and compliance in alignment with company policies and project goals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. New Employee Onboarding & Induction

  • Lead the onboarding process for all new joiners (Blue-collar & White-collar).
  • Ensure proper documentation, verification, and maintenance of personal files.
  • Conduct orientation sessions to familiarize employees with company policies and safety norms.
  • Coordinate with HO for employee code generation and system updates.

2. Manpower Planning & Sourcing

  • Collaborate with project managers to assess manpower requirements.
  • Liaise with labor contractors, local vendors, and internal teams for timely sourcing of skilled/unskilled workforce.
  • Maintain daily/weekly/monthly manpower reports.

3. Statutory Compliance (PF, ESI, Labour Laws)

  • Ensure timely registration of employees under PF & ESI.
  • Prepare and maintain statutory registers and documents as per Factories Act/CLRA.
  • Handle audits/inspections by statutory bodies and provide necessary documentation.

4. HR & IR Handling

  • Handle employee relations and labor disputes professionally.
  • Work closely with legal/HR team for any disciplinary or legal issues.

5. Employee Grievances & Engagement

  • Act as the first point of contact for employee concerns.
  • Maintain grievance registers and ensure closure of complaints within defined timelines.
  • Drive employee welfare and engagement activities to boost morale and retention.
  • Support a positive work culture focused on safety, respect, and performance.

6. Client Coordination (HR Related)

  • Act as a liaison between client HR teams and internal teams on all manpower-related aspects.
  • Attend site HR/client coordination meetings and resolve escalated issues.
  • Ensure alignment of site HR practices with client requirements and contractual obligations.

7. Reporting & Documentation

  • Prepare and submit HR dashboards, MIS reports, and statutory returns.
  • Maintain updated site HR records (manpower, contracts, grievances, compliance, etc.).
  • Coordinate with HO and Regional HR teams for escalations and approvals.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in Human Resource Management, MSW, MBA-HR, or equivalent.
  • 5-10 years of experience in a site HR role, preferably in facility mgt.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws, PF/ESI, CLRA, and other site-related compliances.
  • Proven experience in managing contractor labor and handling IR issues.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently in remote/site-based environments.

Working Conditions:

  • Based full-time at project
  • 6-day work week (or as per site norms).
  • Field-intensive role with frequent interactions with our staff and our clients.
