Site Engineer (Civil)

Position Summary: A Civil Engineer is responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing construction and maintenance of building structures, infrastructure, and public works such as roads, bridges, water supply systems, and drainage networks. The role involves ensuring that all projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Key Responsibilities: Design, plan, and supervise construction projects such as roads, buildings, bridges, drainage, and pipelines. Prepare detailed drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications. Conduct site investigations, surveys, and feasibility studies. Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental laws. Manage and monitor project progress, quality, and costs. Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other engineering professionals. Perform structural analysis and calculations for load-bearing structures. Review and approve materials, construction methods, and work schedules. Prepare project reports, estimates, and documentation. Oversee site safety and ensure adherence to safety protocols. Skills and Competencies: Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and design software (AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, Revit, etc.) Excellent project management and problem-solving skills. Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. Strong leadership and communication abilities. Attention to detail and analytical thinking. Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and legal regulations. --- Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (B.E/B.Tech) or equivalent. Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (optional, preferred for senior roles). Professional certification or license (if applicable). --- Work Environment: Office and on-site work (construction sites, infrastructure projects). May involve travel to project locations and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
