Job Roles & Responsibilities
1. Site Supervision & Execution
- Supervise day-to-day site activities, ensuring work is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure smooth workflow.
- Monitor concrete works, structural works, finishing works, and related civil activities.
- Ensure strict adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
2. Project Coordination
- Work closely with architects, structural engineers, MEP engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Attend site meetings and provide technical inputs on construction-related issues.
- Assist in resolving design and site execution challenges.
3. Quality & Safety Management
- Ensure implementation of quality control procedures, material inspections, and test checks.
- Enforce site safety standards and practices for workers and contractors.
- Maintain records of daily site activities, progress reports, and inspections.
4. Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly site progress reports.
- Verify contractor bills, measurements, and quantities as per actual site execution.
- Maintain records of site correspondences, RFI (Request for Information), and approvals.
5. Problem-Solving & Support
- Identify potential delays or risks at the site and propose corrective measures.
- Provide technical support to resolve construction challenges.
- Ensure compliance with statutory norms and local authority requirements.
Qualification Criteria
- Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Experience:
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in civil site supervision and execution of large-scale projects.
- Experience in airport projects, particularly Cochin International Airport (CIAL), will be given high preference.
- Experience in commercial, institutional, or infrastructure projects will be an added advantage.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of civil construction methods, materials, and standards.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.
- Familiarity with project management tools and MS Office (AutoCAD/Revit knowledge preferred).
- Other Skills:
- Excellent communication, leadership, and team coordination abilities.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to travel and work at project sites as required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Kochi, Kerala: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Preferred)
Education:
Experience:
- Civil engineering: 5 years (Preferred)
