Job Title: Field Engineer – Project Handling (Civil Engineer)

Job Summary

We are looking for a Field Engineer (Civil Engineer) to independently handle project execution at sites.
The role involves site coordination, installation supervision, client interaction, quality checks, and reporting, ensuring projects are completed on time and as per specifications.

Key Responsibilities1. Project & Site Execution

• Handle complete site execution of assigned projects.
• Supervise installation, erection, commissioning, and testing activities.
• Ensure work is carried out as per drawings, standards, and timelines.

2. Technical Coordination

• Coordinate with design, production, purchase, and QC teams for site requirements.
• Understand mechanical/electrical drawings, BOQ, and technical specifications.
• Resolve site-level technical issues and escalate major concerns to management.

3. Client & Contractor Handling

• Interact with clients for daily progress updates and approvals.
• Supervise contractors, technicians, and site manpower.
• Maintain professional relationships with clients and stakeholders.

4. Quality, Safety & Compliance

• Ensure installation quality and adherence to safety norms at site.
• Conduct inspections and ensure rectification of issues.
• Maintain site safety and housekeeping standards.

5. Material & Documentation

• Coordinate material receipt, usage, and return at site.
• Maintain daily site reports, progress photos, measurement sheets, and checklists.
• Submit daily/weekly project status reports to management.

Requirements

• Diploma / BE in Civil Engineering
• 1–8 years of experience in field execution / project handling
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings
• Strong coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Willingness to travel to project sites
• Responsible, disciplined, and able to work independently

Preferred Skills

• Experience in industrial equipment, cranes, weighbridges, or mechanical installations
• Basic MS Excel and reporting knowledge
• Hands-on site supervision experience
