Job Summary

The Site Engineer (Civil) is responsible for planning, execution, and supervision of civil construction activities at site. The role ensures that work is carried out as per drawings, specifications, quality standards, safety norms, and project timelines.

ResponsibilitiesCommon Responsibilities (Both Fresher & Experienced)

• Supervise day-to-day construction activities at site
• Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings and specifications
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors
• Monitor material usage and report requirements
• Ensure site safety practices and quality standards are followed
• Prepare daily work progress reports (DPR)
• Assist in inspections and measurements
• Maintain site records, logs, and documentation

Additional Responsibilities – Fresher

• Assist senior engineers in site supervision
• Learn and interpret construction drawings and BOQs
• Support quality checks and site measurements
• Help in preparation of basic reports and documentation
• Coordinate with site staff for smooth execution
• Gain knowledge of construction methods and safety practices

Additional Responsibilities – Experienced

• Independently manage site execution activities
• Plan work schedules and allocate manpower
• Verify measurements, bills, and quantities
• Coordinate with consultants and clients
• Resolve site issues and technical challenges
• Ensure adherence to project timelines and cost control
• Review and approve subcontractor work
• Mentor junior engineers and site staff

Qualifications

• Education: B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Civil Engineering
• Experience:
• Fresher: 0–1 year
• Experienced: 2–8+ years (as per project requirement)

Skills Required

• Knowledge of civil construction methods
• Ability to read and understand drawings
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD (preferred)
• MS Office proficiency
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Problem-solving ability
• Awareness of quality and safety standards
