Position: Site Engineer

Experience Required: Minimum 5 Years

Role Overview

The Site Engineer will be responsible for supervising all on-site construction activities, ensuring work quality, adherence to timelines, safety compliance, and coordination with contractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders.

Key Roles & Responsibilities1. Site Supervision

• Monitor daily site activities and ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and workforce for day-to-day execution.
• Ensure quality control at all stages of construction.
• Maintain site discipline and proper workflow.

2. Planning & Coordination

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly work plans.
• Coordinate with Planning Engineer, Project Manager, and QA/QC for smooth execution.
• Ensure materials availability as per project schedule.
• Follow up with vendors and suppliers for timely delivery.

3. Quality & Safety

• Ensure compliance with company quality standards and building codes.
• Conduct inspections and tests at different stages of work.
• Ensure all safety norms, PPE usage, and site safety protocols are strictly followed.
• Identify and report any quality or safety issues immediately.

4. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain daily site reports, progress reports, and labour reports.
• Record all material receipts, consumption, and wastage.
• Prepare measurement sheets for subcontractors and support billing process.
• Update project manager on work progress and issues.

5. Technical Tasks

• Read, understand, and implement construction drawings (Architectural, Structural, MEP).
• Assist in resolving technical issues and coordinate design clarifications.
• Conduct layout marking, leveling, and checking dimensions as per drawings.

Skills Required

• Strong knowledge of civil engineering construction methods.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Hands-on experience with site execution, layout, and quality control.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD (optional), and site documentation.
• Problem-solving ability and decision-making at site.

Education

• Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.

Salary Range

• As per industry standards / Based on experience.
