Recruitment of PLC Programmer for TOPWERK India:

We are looking to hire experienced PLC programmer to design and install controller system

software for our clients. The candidate needs to travel to client locations (India & Abroad)

analyzing system requirements, writing, and installing custom programmable logic code,

testing system efficiency, and providing operational support.

To ensure success as a PLC programmer, you should have excellent knowledge of machine

mechanics, a logical approach, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. A skilled

PLC programmer should be able to easily identify and design a robust program fit for any

mechanical or electrical purpose.

Detailed knowledge of PLC automation software’s and hardware PLC S7-300, S7-400

S7-1200, ET200SP, ET200S, ET200MP, ET200M, PLC S7-1500 (Siemens TIA, WinCC and

coding languages like’s JavaScript, Python, C#, CFC)

Roles and Responsibilities:

Meeting with clients to discuss their mechanical or electrical automation needs.

Drawing electrical or mechanical schematics to demonstrate how processes will work.

Developing and installing machine programs using automation software and custom coding

languages.

Determining machine automation test criteria before the final installation.

Testing automated systems for efficiency, safety, and reliability.

Troubleshooting system errors.

Overseeing the successful installation of PLC programs.

Documenting development processes.

Providing clients with technical support.

Work with minimal supervision.

Travel when required.

Profile Required:

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, or a similar field.

PLC technical certification.

At least 4 years’ experience as a PLC programmer.

Electrical and mechanical engineering experience preferred.

In-depth knowledge of manufacturing and mechanical processes.

Knowledge of software design principals.

Detailed knowledge of PLC automation software preferably Siemens TIA Step 7 & WinCC

Knowledge of VB and/or C# required for PLC/ SCADA configuration

WinCC scripting and web development knowledge will be a plus

Knowledge on Server configuration in OPC DA & UA

Should be able to configure web server and diagnostics.

In depth knowledge on network protocols like Profibus and Profinet

Understanding of SCL scripting in PLC.

Knowledge on S7 Graph shall be added advantage

Safety programming concepts on AS-I interface.
