Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Customer Engagement & Sales

  • Greet and assist all walk-in customers professionally.
  • Understand customer needs, space requirements, and budget to suggest the right AC models.
  • Explain features, benefits, energy ratings, inverter technology, and warranty details.
  • Demonstrate products effectively and handle customer objections confidently.
  • Drive

    upselling and cross-selling

    of accessories or higher-end models.

Product Knowledge & Presentation

  • Maintain thorough knowledge of all products, price lists, and ongoing offers.
  • Keep showroom displays attractive and organized.
  • Stay updated with

    new launches, product specifications, and competitor models

    .

Sales Operations & Reporting

  • Prepare and process

    sales orders, invoices, and billing

    accurately.
  • Maintain

    daily sales records

    and submit reports to the manager.
  • Achieve assigned

    monthly and quarterly sales targets

    .
  • Coordinate with inventory and service teams for smooth order fulfillment.

Customer Service & Follow-Up

  • Provide

    post-sales assistance

    including installation coordination.
  • Handle customer feedback and resolve minor issues promptly.
  • Build

    long-term customer relationships

    to ensure repeat business and referrals.

Teamwork & Coordination

  • Collaborate with marketing and service departments for promotions and service follow-ups.
  • Participate in

    product training sessions and promotional events

    .
  • Maintain showroom decorum and ensure a professional environment at all times.

Preferred candidate profile

Preferred Candidate Profile:

Educational Background:

  • Diploma or Graduate in Marketing, Business Administration, or Technical Fields (Electrical / Mechanical / Electronics).

Experience:

  • 1-3 years

    of experience in

    retail or consumer durable sales

    preferred.
  • Freshers with excellent communication and learning attitude are also welcome.

Personality Traits & Skills:

  • Smart, confident, and customer-friendly personality
  • Excellent communication and convincing ability
  • Target-driven, energetic, and result-oriented mindset
  • Team player with time management and multitasking skills
  • Basic computer literacy (MS Office, billing systems, CRM)

Work Environment:

  • Showroom-based role

    with direct walk-in customer interaction (B2C Sales)
  • May include

    weekend or holiday shifts

    based on customer traffic
  • Coordination with

    service, finance, and installation
