Job Description

The Showroom Administrator role involves overseeing the smooth operation of the showroom and office areas spread across the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd floors. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the cleanliness, organization, and functionality of all spaces, maintaining a professional and welcoming environment for both clients and staff. You will be in charge of facilities management tasks such as regulating air conditioning systems, monitoring lighting functionality, and ensuring washrooms are well-stocked and maintained on all floors. Collaborating with the chef, you will oversee the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, manage grocery and kitchen stock purchases, conduct regular checks to avoid shortages, and maintain a hygienic and functional kitchen space. After client visits, you are expected to clear tables, catalogues, and disposables to maintain a tidy appearance. End-of-day inspections will be necessary to confirm that all areas are clean and ready for the next day. Moreover, you will monitor and manage essential supplies, order replenishments in a timely manner, and act as the primary contact for any IT-related issues, coordinating with IT support if needed. Addressing minor electrical and mechanical issues will fall under your purview, with larger problems being escalated to appropriate personnel for resolution. You will also be responsible for coordinating repairs, services, or maintenance needs with external vendors and ensuring that health and safety standards are upheld throughout the premises. Daily inspections, preventive maintenance activities, and vendor coordination for repairs or services are essential aspects of this role. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in facilities management or showroom administration, along with strong organizational skills, basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and IT systems, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
