Company Name : Maanavi Homes Reporting to : Senior Design Consultant Working Days : 6 days a week with 1 day off. There may be some overtime required which shall be compensated as decided. We offer complete customisation options in size, material and finish. We started working with local craftsman to bring alive our design ideas in 2016. Currently we have 3 distinctive workshops spread across 1,50,000 sqft. area, with expertise in woodwork, metal work and upholstery. We have done over 100+ projects pan India. We continue to strive to push our periphery of imagination, design and material exploration. Purpose Of the Position The Junior Design Consultant will support the Senior Design Consultant in delivering tailored design solutions and ensuring customer satisfaction while aligning with Maanavi Homes’ aesthetic and functional goals. Key Responsibilities & Duties Assist in understanding client requirements to develop customized design solutions. Collaborate with the Senior Design Consultant to create design concepts, layouts, and furniture solutions. Maintain an understanding of the company’s product range, including materials, finishes, and design options. Prepare mood boards, presentations, and material selections for client approval. Visit project sites to measure spaces and oversee installations when required. Coordinate with production and workshop teams to ensure timely delivery and accurate implementation of designs. Provide exceptional customer service and resolve client queries efficiently. Contribute to the development of creative concepts that align with the client’s vision and the brand’s ethos. Maintain design and project documentation for client records. Support the sales team by contributing to client presentations and meetings. Stay updated with design trends, materials, and tools relevant to the furniture and interior design industry. Education: A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field. Work Experience & Skills Total Experience: Minimum 1 year in a design role (preferably in furniture or interior design). Design Skills: Basic knowledge of design principles, furniture, and interior layouts. Software Proficiency: Familiarity with design tools like AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite. Customer Interaction: Ability to understand client preferences and requirements effectively. Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for presenting and discussing design concepts. Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with senior team members and other departments. Problem-Solving: Basic problem-solving skills to address design or project challenges. Organization: Strong organizational skills for managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
