Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Shopify Developer to join our team and help build, customize, and optimize eCommerce stores on the Shopify platform. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Shopify’s Liquid templating language, front-end and back-end development, and integration with third-party apps and APIs. You will work closely with the design, marketing, and product teams to deliver seamless, scalable, and high-performing online shopping experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify stores.
• Implement new features and functionalities using Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• Customize Shopify themes and create responsive layouts.
• Integrate third-party apps, APIs, and payment gateways.
• Optimize store performance (speed, SEO, usability).
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues.
• Collaborate with designers and stakeholders to deliver user-friendly experiences.
• Maintain best practices for coding, security, and performance.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Shopify Developer (portfolio of past Shopify projects required).
• Strong knowledge of Shopify Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery.
• Experience with Shopify Plus (preferred).
• Familiarity with REST/GraphQL APIs, app integrations, and third-party tools.
• Understanding of SEO principles, page speed optimization, and web performance best practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with React, Vue.js, or other modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Knowledge of headless commerce and Shopify Hydrogen.
• Understanding of digital marketing, analytics, and conversion rate optimization (CRO).

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (preferred, not mandatory).
• 2+ years of experience in Shopify development.
