Job Title: Shift In-ChargeDepartment: Operations / Warehouse / StoreReporting To: Store Manager / Operations ManagerJob SummaryThe Shift In-Charge is responsible for managing day-to-day operations during the assigned shift, ensuring smooth workflow, manpower utilization, productivity, discipline, and adherence to company policies. Key ResponsibilitiesManage and supervise all shift activities and manpower. Ensure adequate staffing, attendance tracking, and shift allocation. Monitor productivity, efficiency, and quality of work. Coordinate with team leads, pickers, packers, and supervisors. Ensure timely order processing and dispatch as per SLA. Handle shift issues, escalations, and operational challenges. Ensure adherence to safety, hygiene, and company SOPs. Maintain discipline and resolve employee concerns during shift. Prepare and submit shift reports (attendance, output, issues). Coordinate with HR/Admin for new joiners, training, and exits. Ensure proper handover to the next shift. Required Skills & CompetenciesStrong leadership and people-management skills. Good communication and coordination ability. Basic computer knowledge (Excel, attendance systems). Problem-solving and decision-making skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet targets. QualificationsMinimum: 12th / Diploma / Graduate (preferred). Experience: 1–3 years in warehouse, retail, logistics, or operations. Prior experience as Team Lead / Supervisor is an added advantage. Shift DetailsWillingness to work in rotational shifts. 6 days working (as per company policy).
