Compliance with health and safety standards and regulations. • Manage and coordinate daily manufacturing operations to meet production schedules and targets. • Fostering employee engagement and managing attrition within the operation team. • Ensuring operation activities support and align with the overall business objectives. • Ensuring timely and effective actions are taken in response to customer complaints. • Forecast Operation needs to ensure production targets are achieved. • Monitor and manage operational costs within budgetary constraints, implementing cost-saving measures to improve profitability. • Act as On-Site Incident Controller till the Utility SSM reached at emergency site. • On noticing or receiving message of an emergency from field or panel officer, rush to the emergency site. • Be the overall in-charge of the situation and mobilize resources at his command fully. • Instruct panel officer for announcement through PA system to alert personnel in the plant. • Ensure Emergency message has been communicated to Fire station, SIC and Plant Manager / HOD & others as per communication matrix. • Safe evacuation of plant personnel, if required. • Logging of status of all the personnel working in plant area and Inform Security in Charge for Head Count. • Assess the situation and take necessary actions to control the emergency and give necessary instructions to panel officer / field personnel for process control actions. • Arrange for rescue of casualty if it is safe to do so from the affected area. • Liaise with SIC, Shift Fire Manager and Safety District Head and closely monitor on escalation of an emergency. • Guide the ERT team member for handling emergency. • After All CLEAR”, ensure conditions are safe for restart-up.
