Sharepoint Developer Consultant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and experienced SharePoint Developer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of hands-on experience in developing, customizing, and maintaining SharePoint solutions, with a strong understanding of both on-premises and SharePoint Online environments. You will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing robust and scalable SharePoint applications that meet our business needs and enhance collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, implement, and maintain custom SharePoint solutions using SharePoint Framework (SPFx), PowerShell, C#, and other relevant technologies.
• Work extensively with SharePoint Online features, including lists, libraries, content types, site columns, workflows (Power Automate/Flow), and permissions.
• Develop and customize web parts, extensions, and applications for SharePoint Online using modern development practices.
• Migrate existing SharePoint on-premises solutions to SharePoint Online (if applicable to your projects).
• Integrate SharePoint with other business systems and applications using APIs, Web Services, and Microsoft Graph.
• Collaborate with business analysts, solution architects, and other developers to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure successful project delivery.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SharePoint environments and applications.
• Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and other team members.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest SharePoint technologies, trends, and best practices, particularly around Microsoft 365 and Azure.
• Contribute to documentation, including technical designs, deployment guides, and user manuals.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 4-6 years of professional experience as a SharePoint Developer.

• Strong expertise in SharePoint Online development and administration.

• Proficiency in SharePoint Framework (SPFx) development using TypeScript, React/Angular, and Node.js.

• Solid understanding of Microsoft 365 services and how they integrate with SharePoint (e.g., Teams, OneDrive, Azure AD).
• Experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate/Flow, Power BI) for building custom business solutions and workflows.
• Proficient in C#, .NET, ASP.NET, and client-side scripting (JavaScript, jQuery).
• Experience with REST API, CSOM, JSOM, and Microsoft Graph API.
• Familiarity with source control systems like Git/Azure DevOps.
• Strong understanding of SharePoint architecture, security, and performance optimization.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in an agile environment.

Preferred Skills (Bonus Points):

• Knowledge of Azure services relevant to SharePoint (e.g., Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Storage).
• Experience with modern UI/UX design principles for SharePoint.
• Certifications related to Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft 365, or Azure.
• Experience with migration tools like ShareGate, Metalogix, or AvePoint.
