Develop responsive, accessible, and pixel-perfect HTML/CSS email templates for ecommerce transactional communications. • Troubleshoot and resolve rendering issues across major email clients (Outlook, Gmail, Apple Mail, etc.). • Collaborate with internal design teams to translate mockups into functional email templates. • Ensure emails are optimized for performance, deliverability, and user engagement. • Conduct thorough QA testing across devices and platforms. • Work within Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) to build, test, and deploy transactional email. • Maintain and update reusable code modules and template libraries. • Stay current with email best practices, trends, and compliance standards (e.g., CAN-SPAM, GDPR). Qualifications • 35 years of professional experience developing marketing or transactional emails. • Strong proficiency in HTML and CSS, specifically for email development. • Deep understanding of email client rendering quirks and how to work around them specifically mode issues (dark/light mode). • Experience with email testing tools (e.g., Everest, Litmus, Email on Acid). • Familiarity with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar ESPs is a plus. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Nice to Have • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git). • Knowledge of accessibility standards in email. • Intermediate SQL skills. • Familiarity with marketing automation and personalization strategies. • Experience with AMPscript, Journey Builder, and SFMC Transactional API.
