Role Overview: NewRocket is looking for a ServiceNow Lead Engineer with Custom Applications & Integrations experience to join their global team. As a Lead Engineer, you will be responsible for leading a team of Software Engineers in developing project professional services for customers. This role involves implementing and developing customizations based on functional and technical requirements using leading practices and internal code standards on large-scale, more complex professional services projects. Key Responsibilities: - Interface with end-users, IT teams, and key stakeholders to gather systems requirements for Custom Applications & Integrations. - Guide customers through understanding technical solutions to their business requirements in Custom Applications & Integrations processes. - Conduct requirements gathering workshops with clients in both onsite and virtual environments. - Configure and customize ServiceNow applications focusing on platform capabilities such as Mobile App Engine, UIBuilder, Workspaces, and Performance Analytics. - Manage all aspects of application development, including design, coding, debugging, testing, troubleshooting, and documenting systems, query optimization, and report-writing. - Mentor project crew members by managing peer reviews and providing technical guidance. - Implement ServiceNow modules such as IT Service Management, Knowledge Management, Service Level Management, Survey Management, Agent Workspace, Virtual Agent, Reports and Dashboards, Performance Analytics. - Create script-based Assignment and Approval rules, custom related lists, Access Control list, UI Policy, and client script. - Design and develop custom applications using ServiceNow. - Create and execute development plans to meet changing needs and requirements. - Apply knowledge of ITIL V4 processes and hands-on experience with ITIL process implementation. - Plan and package ServiceNow platform solutions and accelerators. - Conduct Presales Demo and Proof of Value for prospective customers. - Facilitate capability Requirements Analysis sessions and customer workshops. - Design custom or product-based solutions based on ServiceNow applications. Qualifications Required: - 5-7 years of experience with ServiceNow products. - Minimum 4 years of preferred work experience on ServiceNow. - 3+ years of leadership level experience with Enterprise Management tools and IT Service Management tools. - 5+ years of client-facing consulting experience. - A passion for engineering science and technology, applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of managed services. - Strong collaboration skills with customers, including customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluating customer satisfaction. - Proficiency in strategic planning, resource allocation, production methods, and coordination of people and resources. - Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment. Education: - A four-year undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or demonstrated work experience. Certifications & Knowledge: - Willingness and ability to continue education within the ServiceNow platform and beyond. - Expected to complete ServiceNow competency Certifications as well as Module Accreditations.,
