Senior ServiceNow AI Developer

Generative AI use cases

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy

  Generative AI solutions on the ServiceNow platform

• Implement and customize

  Now Assist, AI Search, and Virtual Agent (GenAI-based)

• Build intelligent workflows using

  Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and custom scripts

• Integrate ServiceNow with

  LLMs and AI platforms

  (Azure OpenAI, OpenAI, enterprise AI APIs)
• Develop prompt strategies, response controls, and grounding mechanisms for GenAI
• Automate incident, request, and knowledge workflows using AI-driven logic
• Work closely with business stakeholders to convert real problems into AI solutions
• Ensure solutions are

  secure, scalable, explainable, and production-ready

• Optimize performance and continuously improve AI outcomes post-deployment

Must-Have Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of

  hands-on ServiceNow development

• Mandatory experience with Generative AI implementations

• Strong experience with

  ServiceNow AI features

  , including:
• Now Assist
• Virtual Agent (GenAI/NLU-based)
• AI Search
• Predictive Intelligence (supporting role)
• Proven experience integrating

  LLMs via REST APIs

• Solid expertise in

  JavaScript, Glide APIs, Script Includes, Business Rules

• Experience with

  Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and custom orchestration

• Clear understanding of

  prompt engineering, hallucination control, and data grounding

• Ability to independently design, implement, and own AI solutions end-to-end

Nice to Have (Not Mandatory)

• ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CAD, CIS, AI-related)
• Experience in AI-first or product-led environments
• Exposure to AI governance, compliance, and enterprise security standards
• Prior work on measurable AI impact (MTTR reduction, deflection rate, automation %)
