Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Service Manager—Operations (Mutual Fund) to manage end-to-end mutual fund operations including transaction processing, reconciliation, compliance, and client servicing. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of mutual fund products and operational workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage daily mutual fund operations: purchase, redemption, switch, and SIP transactions

Oversee transaction processing through platforms like BSE Star MF, NSE NMF, or RTA portals

Reconcile transactions, fund transfers, and client holdings with RTAs (e.g., CAMS, KFintech)

Coordinate with AMCs, distributors, and back-office teams for smooth processing

Handle escalations and ensure timely resolution of client queries and service requests

Ensure compliance with SEBI and AMFI regulations

Monitor service quality, turnaround times (TAT), and operational SLAs

Prepare MIS reports and dashboards for senior management

Implement process improvements and automation in operational workflows

Required Skills:

Strong knowledge of mutual fund products, processes, and platforms

Hands-on experience in operations using platforms like BSE Star MF/NSE NMF

Familiarity with RTA systems (CAMS, KFintech) and transaction reconciliation

Sound understanding of SEBI/AMFI guidelines

Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools

Excellent communication and coordination skills

Strong problem-solving and analytical ability

Qualifications:

Graduate in Finance, Commerce, or related field

3+ years of experience in mutual fund operations or similar financial services role

Preferred Attributes:

Prior experience in a mutual fund distribution firm, registrar, or AMC

Exposure to client servicing and operations management

Leadership capability to handle small to mid-sized teams
