Job Description

Key Responsibilities:Supervise daily operations of the service department to ensure smooth workflow and productivity. Oversee scheduling, repair orders, job card creation, and timely delivery of serviced vehicles. Ensure excellent customer service and handle escalations or complaints professionally. Maintain relationships with OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) and ensure compliance with warranty and service policies. Monitor workshop capacity, technician efficiency, and bay utilization. Implement and maintain service quality standards as per brand guidelines. Review and improve processes to enhance customer retention and service revenue. Ensure proper documentation and reporting of service records, warranties, and vehicle histories. Track and manage KPIs like CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index), TAT (Turnaround Time), and repeat jobs. Conduct regular training for technicians and service advisors on technical updates and soft skills. Manage inventory of tools, parts, and consumables; coordinate with parts department for smooth operations. Prepare budgets, forecasts, and performance reports for the service department.
