Service Engineering Specialist

Role Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Service Engineer to join our technical team. In this role, you will be the face of our technical support, handling on-site installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance of industrial machinery. You will ensure our clients' operations run smoothly by providing timely and effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation & Commissioning: Execute on-site installation and setup of new machinery (Workshop, Sheet Metal, CNC, etc.) at client locations.
• Maintenance & Repair: Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, breakdown repairs, and routine inspections to ensure machine longevity.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose mechanical and technical issues effectively and implement quick resolutions to minimize downtime.
• Customer Support: Provide technical training and support to customers regarding machine operation and safety.
• Reporting: maintain accurate daily service reports, visit logs, and ensure all activities comply with safety standards.

Candidate Requirements:

• Education: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or ITI (Mechanical/Fitter/Electrical). Bachelor’s degree is a plus.
• Experience: 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience in machine tools or industrial maintenance.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware/mechanical issues and handling hand/power tools.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication skills for client interaction; ability to work independently.
• Travel: Willingness to travel to client sites for field service as required.
