Job Title: Service Engineer – CCTV & Access Control Systems

Location: Beck Bagan, Kolkata
Experience Required: Minimum 1 year
Education: Diploma in Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE)

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and technically skilled Service Engineer with hands-on experience in CCTV, Access Control Systems, and related low-voltage security solutions. This role is ideal for someone who wants to grow further in the field of service engineering, handle diverse projects, and expand their technical capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, test, and troubleshoot CCTV systems, IP cameras, DVR/NVR setups, and related security equipment.
• Install and maintain access control systems, including biometric devices, card readers, door controllers, and software configurations.
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance visits for client sites.
• Diagnose system faults and implement effective solutions ensuring minimum downtime.
• Assist in wiring, cabling, network layout planning, and system integration.
• Coordinate with clients for service requests, provide timely updates, and ensure high-quality customer satisfaction.
• Prepare service reports, documentation, and inventory tracking for equipment used.
• Work with the technical team on new and ongoing projects at various locations.
• Stay updated with the latest security technology and recommend improvements when necessary.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma in Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE)
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Service Engineer or Technician in CCTV, Access Control, or similar security system domains.
• Strong understanding of electronic circuits, IP networking, cabling, and hardware troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, wiring layouts, and manuals.
• Good problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
• Willingness to work on-site at various project locations when required.
• Strong communication and customer-handling skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with brands like Hikvision, CP Plus, Dahua, Honeywell, ZKTeco, or similar systems.
• Basic understanding of fire alarm systems or other ELV solutions (added advantage).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
