Service Engineer- Field Work and Commissioning

Roles and Responsibilities

• Commissioning of Power Quality and Energy Management Solution at the Customer site.
• Carry out power quality studies at the customers site(s) and draft in-depth reports after analysing the study data.
• Servicing and tech support at customer site.
• Determine the clients power quality and energy management requirements.
• Work alongside the commercial team and provide technical support for service and commissioning of the projects.
• Your work will require travelling outstation.
• Conduct product demonstrations and provide technical training to customers and sales team members.
• Provide technical support to customers during pre-sales and post-sales stages, including resolving technical issues, and answering product related questions.
• Explain new features and suggesting upgrade to customers.
• Provide clear customer feedback.

Skill Set and Experience

• Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B. Tech / M. Tech in Electrical and Electronics or related discipline
• Years of Experience: 0 to 4 years
• Able to work independently (without expecting support from principals).
• Fundamental understanding of electrical systems.
• Should have brief understanding of IoT, GSM, RS-485 etc.
• Ability to put together technical specifications, drawings and other documentation for power quality and energy management solutions.
• Technical writing for drafting reports and recommendations.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and Office.
• Fluency in spoken and written English.
• Good work ethics, time management skills and ability to multitask.
• Technical troubleshooting and demonstrated problem solving skills.
• Work as part of a team and display good communication and presentation skills.
