DESIGNATION/JOB DESCRIPTION: - COSTING & DESIGN ENGINEER FOR ELECTRICAL PANELS Estimation of Control Panels as Low/High Tension Power & Motor Control Centre, AMF Logic Panel, APFC Panel, PLC Based Panel, Auto/Manual Synchronizing Panel, Control Desk, Mimic Panels, and Control & Relay Panel and Bus Duct, Rising Mains, Tap off Box, End Feed Units. after analyzing the specifications, Bill of Material and SLD given by the client or electrical consultants. Also having basic knowledge of AUTO CAD, load calculation and all other technical Parameters. Prepare offer, Bill of material (BOQ) and Price schedule of panels. Coordinate regularly with Marketing, Purchase & Designing department and with client and record all technical & commercial papers properly. Do have good knowledge about the commercial & technical aspects of all major switchgears i.e. Schneider (Merlin Gerin-France), Siemens, Asea Brown Boveri (ABB), Larsen & Toubro (L&T), C&S, HPL & Hevalls etc. Selection of switchgears (Circuit Breaker, MCCB, SDFU, Contactor, overload relay, MPCB, Fuse, Protection Relay etc.) as per tender specification. Knowledge of Protection Relay of Different Makes (L&T, Siemens, Schneider, ABB, GE, Alstom, Areva, C&S, Ashidha, Minilec) Detailed study of contract Document, Estimation & sent it to Customer.
