Service Engineer

As a Service Engineer for hydraulic, cutting, and hose machines in Gurgaon, you will have the following responsibilities: - Work safely both on-site and in the Service Department, ensuring a secure environment for yourself and others. - Perform field service, machine repair, commissioning, and training, including potential travel of up to 50%. - Timely repair of machines returned to the Service Department. - Conduct start-up and training sessions for customers who have purchased new or refurbished machines. - Provide technical assistance to customers over the phone, helping them with machine functionality and troubleshooting. - Create customer quotations for field service, preventative maintenance at customer sites, and employee training. Collaborate with Sales/Marketing during customer visits. - Generate field service reports and include necessary documentation such as photos. - Collaborate with the team in Germany to address technical issues when necessary. - Maintain organization within the Service Department. In addition to the primary responsibilities, you may also be involved in: - Supporting the Shipping and Receiving Department. - Preparing machines for shipment. - Assisting Sales/Marketing in creating quotations for parts and machines. - Providing suggestions for enhancing internal and external efficiencies. Qualifications required for this role include: - At least 3 years of experience in machine repair. - A college degree in Mechanical or Electrical Technology is desirable, with technical training and proven experience being essential. - Ability to interpret fluid power and electrical schematics. - Proficiency in fluid power and electrical controls. - Strong analytical, critical thinking, communication (both oral and written), and problem-solving skills. - Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. - Possession of a valid driver's license and successful completion of a driving record screening.,
