Job Title: Service Engineer – EV Workbenches

Employment Type: Full-Time

ISIEINDIA is India’s leading platform for skill development and experiential learning in Electric Vehicles (EV), Renewable Energy, and Advanced Technologies. We collaborate with universities, industries, and government bodies to establish Centers of Excellence (CoEs) and provide hands-on training to students and professionals.


Role Overview

The Service Engineer will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and product demonstration of Electric Vehicle (EV) workbenches and training equipment at ISIE Centers across India. The role requires extensive travel and hands-on expertise in EV systems.


Key Responsibilities

  • Install and commission EV workbenches, charging stations, and training equipment at ISIE Centers across PAN India.
  • Conduct technical demonstrations and presentations for faculty, students, and partners.
  • Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of equipment installed at various sites.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting during and after installation.
  • Prepare service reports, installation documentation, and customer feedback records.
  • Train end-users on equipment operation, safety protocols, and best practices.
  • Coordinate with the R&D team to suggest improvements based on field performance and user feedback.
  • Ensure all installations follow safety compliance and quality standards.
  • Support technical workshops and training events conducted at the centers.


Required Qualifications

  • Diploma / B.Tech in Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics / Automobile Engineering or related technical fields.
  • 1-2 years of experience in the Electric Vehicle industry, preferably in field service, testing, commissioning, or product installation.


Technical Skills

  • Understanding of EV systems, components, and power electronics.
  • Hands-on experience with battery packs, motors, controllers, BMS, and EV charging systems.
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical assembly and electrical wiring.
  • Ability to read electrical diagrams and technical manuals.
  • Good understanding of safety standards in EV applications.


Soft Skills

Strong communication and presentation skills.

Ability to train and guide users at the centers.

Problem-solving mindset and customer-centric approach.

Willingness to travel extensively across India.

Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.


Work Environment

This role requires PAN India travel ~60–70% of the time.

On-site installation, workshop environments, and hands-on work with equipment.
