Service Desk Engineer

Job Description: As a Technical Support Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to provide technical assistance to users for desktop, mail client, and MS Office products. You will be required to troubleshoot desktop operating system problems and resolve issues related to procured and in-house applications. Additionally, you will install and configure desktop operating systems and applications, as well as update antivirus software. Key Responsibilities: - Provide technical assistance to users for desktop, mail client, and MS Office products - Troubleshoot desktop operating system problems and resolve issues related to procured and in-house applications - Install and configure desktop operating systems and applications - Update antivirus software - Assist users in accessing procured and in-house applications by providing them with FAQs based on call trends - Resolve hardware and paper jam issues with printers - Coordinate with hardware support teams to address hardware failures - Resolve any print service issues caused by viruses in the network Qualifications Required: - Previous experience in providing technical support - Proficiency in troubleshooting desktop operating system problems - Strong knowledge of desktop applications and antivirus software - Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Additional Details: This is a full-time position with a day shift schedule from Monday to Friday, with weekend availability required. The work location will be in person, where you will be expected to provide efficient and effective technical support to users.,
