Job Description

As a Service Advisor, your role involves providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth coordination of service and repair jobs. Here is a breakdown of your key responsibilities: - Customer Service & Relationship Management: - Welcome customers warmly, listen attentively to their concerns, and understand their service/repair needs. - Clearly explain recommended services, repair processes, costs, and timelines to customers. - Keep customers updated on their vehicle's status and ensure their satisfaction throughout the service experience. - Job Scheduling & Coordination: - Open repair orders and prioritize job assignments for technicians. - Facilitate effective communication between customers, technicians, and the parts department. - Monitor workshop flow and maintain service schedules for timely completion of jobs. - Technical & Advisory Support: - Conduct initial inspections to determine service requirements. - Advise customers on maintenance schedules and recommend value-added services. - Ensure adherence to manufacturers" service standards for quality and reliability. - Documentation & Administration: - Prepare accurate job cards, estimates, invoices, and other related documents. - Maintain detailed records of service history, warranty claims, and customer interactions. - Handle insurance paperwork as required for service transactions. - Quality & Delivery: - Conduct final quality checks to ensure all repairs/services meet the required standards. - Ensure vehicles are delivered on time and in proper condition to customers. - Address and resolve any post-service issues promptly to maintain customer satisfaction. - Sales & Profitability: - Recommend additional services, packages, and accessories to enhance customer experience. - Assist in achieving departmental sales and profitability targets. - Control unnecessary warranty or goodwill expenses to maximize profitability. - Teamwork & Development: - Provide technicians with necessary information and clarity on repair orders. - Participate in training sessions to update your knowledge on new technologies and customer service skills. - Contribute to creating a positive and efficient workshop environment through teamwork and collaboration.
