Job Title: Waiter / Waitress

Department: Food & Beverage
Reports To: Restaurant Manager / Captain

Job Summary:

The Waiter/Waitress is responsible for providing excellent customer service, taking and serving food and beverage orders, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining hygiene and service standards in the restaurant.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests warmly and assist them with seating arrangements.
• Present menus and explain food and beverage options clearly.
• Take accurate food and drink orders and relay them promptly to the kitchen and bar.
• Serve food and beverages efficiently and courteously.
• Ensure tables are properly set up before and after each service.
• Check with guests to ensure satisfaction with each course and resolve any issues promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas.
• Follow all hygiene, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
• Handle billing and payments accurately when required.
• Work as part of a team to ensure smooth restaurant operations.

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 months – 1 year of experience in a similar role (preferred).
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Well-groomed, punctual, and courteous.
• Basic knowledge of POS systems and food & beverage service standards.
• Flexible to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Education:

• Minimum 10th / 12th pass; Hospitality diploma preferred.

Salary:

As per industry standards and experience.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
