Job Description

As an experienced Server Management Administrator with 3-6 years of overall experience in Linux, your responsibilities will include: - Installing, maintaining, and decommissioning servers (physical/VM) - Demonstrating proficiency in Linux OS operations - Handling hypervisor operations such as XEN and VMware - Possessing knowledge in LVM, DNS, LDAP, and IPTables - Troubleshooting server issues effectively - Managing physical servers and having associate-level knowledge in at least one public cloud landscape (AWS, Azure, GCP) - Having basic knowledge in automation tools and scripting (e.g. chef, bash, Perl) - Utilizing GitHub and Jira for efficient operations - Beneficial experience in monitoring with Prometheus on docker setup and/or ELK stack - Recommended knowledge in central infrastructure services like Security Groups, RPM, Rsync, Mail, Active Directory, Chef automation, Nagios, repository management, and Monitoring - Providing knowledge transfer to 2nd level technical support in specific technology areas Your key responsibilities will involve: - Providing 3rd level technical support in adherence to customer SLAs - Managing daily Compute operations following ITIL processes - Handling server installation, maintenance, monitoring, decommissioning, and special configurations - Conducting Storage Operations based on netapp-nfs - Managing Package/repository and OS image maintenance - Implementing Patch Management using BladeLogic Automation - Configuring server-related Monitoring/Alerts and rollouts - Performing performance tests and analysis - Conducting Root Cause Analysis for customer incidents - Documenting services/tasks, ensuring quality, and facilitating knowledge transfer - Assisting 2nd level technical support in complex tasks - Being flexible to participate in an OnCall setup, including weekends or public holidays if required NTT DATA Business Solutions is a rapidly growing international IT company and a leading SAP partner, specializing in transforming SAP solutions into value.
