Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain

  Linux servers

  , ensuring optimal performance, availability, and resource management.
• Deploy, manage, and monitor

  Linux-based infrastructure

  in

  AWS

  and

  Microsoft Azure

  , including provisioning compute, storage, and networking resources. Configure and manage virtualization platforms such as

  KVM

  ,

  VMware

  , and

  Hyper-V

  (Linux VMs), supporting both on-premises and hybrid cloud environments.
• Implement and maintain

  high availability clusters using Pacemaker

  to ensure redundancy and automatic failover.
• Configure and manage

  LVM (Logical Volume Manager)

  for flexible disk management, volume resizing, and snapshots.
• Perform regular system updates, kernel patches, and apply security hardening following industry best practices.
• Design and execute backup and disaster recovery strategies for Linux systems, including automated backup routines and restore procedures.
• Administer and troubleshoot essential Linux services such as

  DNS

  ,

  DHCP

  ,

  NFS

  ,

  SSH

  , and

  LDAP

  .
• Implement and manage security features including

  firewalls (iptables, firewalld)

  SELinux/AppArmor

  intrusion detection systems

• Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for Linux server issues and collaborate with other teams to resolve system-level problems.
• Maintain clear and detailed documentation for Linux system configurations, processes, standards, and troubleshooting workflows.
• Ensure Linux environments meet compliance, governance, and operational standards across the organization.
