Role Description This is a full-time SEO Trainee role located on-site in Kolkata. The SEO Trainee will be responsible for tasks such as keyword research, SEO audits, link building, web analytics, and on-page SEO to optimize the company's online presence. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, IT, or related field Internship or project experience in SEO is a plus Keyword Research and SEO Audits skills Link Building expertise Proficiency in Web Analytics Experience with On-Page SEO Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Basic knowledge of AI & ML concepts is a plus Key Responsibilities: Conduct keyword research and on-page SEO optimization Assist in creating SEO-friendly content and meta tags Perform regular website audits and suggest improvements Monitor and report on SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, and SEMrush Support link-building and outreach activities Stay updated with the latest SEO trends and algorithm updates Optimize website structure, internal linking, and page speed for better crawlability and user experience Collaborate with content, design, and development teams to ensure SEO best practices are implemented Track keyword rankings and generate performance reports regularly Assist in competitor analysis to identify gaps and opportunities Help manage local SEO efforts, including Google Business Profile optimization Skills Required: Basic understanding of SEO concepts (on-page, off-page, technical) Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs/SEMrush Strong analytical and communication skills Good command of written English Ability to work collaboratively and meet deadlines Show more Show less
