Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented SEO Specialist to join our digital marketing team in Calicut. The ideal candidate should have at least 6 months of hands-on experience in implementing SEO strategies to improve website rankings, traffic, and visibility across major search engines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform keyword research and competitor analysis to guide content and overall SEO strategy
• Optimize on-page elements including meta tags, headings, URL structures, and internal linking
• Conduct regular SEO audits and implement technical fixes to improve site performance
• Monitor and analyze website performance using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, and SEMrush/Ahrefs
• Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm changes, and best practices
• Work closely with the content team to optimize blogs and landing pages for search engines
• Assist in link-building efforts and off-page SEO strategies
• Generate weekly/monthly performance reports and present insights to the team

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 6 months of hands-on SEO experience (internship/freelance included)
• Strong understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO
• Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, etc.
• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and content management systems (WordPress preferred)
• Good analytical, communication, and reporting skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
