What you'll do:

Our Client is seeking a SEO Marketing Manager to support international SEO and program operations. This individual will play a key role in growing the SEO program at the company, developing and executing SEO strategies to grow the channel in close partnership with the Global SEO Lead. The scope includes leading a cohesive strategy across international markets and managing program operations.
To provide tailored SEO strategy for each geo, this individual will help coordinate global and local strategy in partnership with German, French, Japanese, Italian, and Spanish resources. They will lead the development of systems to operate efficiently across regions. While a portion of this role will support international SEO, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to technical SEO and off-site SEO plans as well. You will have the opportunity to work closely with a diverse range of cross-functional partners, including Growth Marketing, Product Marketing, Content Marketing, Engineering, Product, and Localization at the company.

Responsibilities:

  • International SEO:

    develop and implement strategies to optimize global search visibility and performance, including adherence to regional search engine guidelines, and coordinating with international teams to tailor SEO initiatives for different markets.
  • Operations:

    improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the SEO channel by enabling tooling, codifying systems, and process management. This role will also support procurement and admin related activities.
  • Performance reporting:

    analyze and report on KPIs to track progress and identify opportunities for further enhancement.

Top Requirements

Minimum requirements:

  • 5 years of experience creating and executing SEO strategy.
  • Ability to create a compelling content marketing roadmap meeting program growth targets and GTM business objectives. This spans from identifying strategic customer pain points to conducting keyword research, delivering content briefs to copy writers, and seeing-through to the delivery of the final product.
  • Proficient in international SEO and localization, including ability to develop coordinated global and local content and hreflang tags.
  • High attention to detail, ensuring precision and accuracy in all tasks while maintaining consistent quality in work output.
  • Proficient in content management system (CMS) infrastructure as it pertains to content marketing, with 3 years of direct experience. Ability to understand the connection between user-experience and CMS, and apply this to deliver positive content marketing outcomes.
  • Strong technical SEO skills with the ability to identify opportunities and interface directly with software engineers.
  • Strong experience creating performance reporting and measuring success, with emphasis on content marketing reporting.
  • Ability to work extensively in Google Drive apps (Docs, Sheets, Slides), Excel, Looker, Tableau, Google Analytics and other reporting software.
  • Experience managing stakeholders, with the ability to handle multiple work streams and requests from a variety of stakeholders, balancing each of them to deliver on the true north objectives of the program and business.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills (written and verbal) to effectively execute strategies and share with stakeholders.
  • Strong experience using a variety of SEO tools, including Google Search Console, Google Keyword Planner, SEMRush, ScreamingFrog, YouTube Studio, vidIQ etc.
  • Motivated self-starter, demonstrating the ability to take initiative, problem-solve independently, and carry out tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in professional English literacy.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of the role and value of content for business metrics and users. Ability to demonstrate the ROI of content, including influenced attribution; media mixed modeling and incrementality testing experience is highly preferred.
  • In-house enterprise SEO experience is highly preferred.
  • Experience working in the following industries: payments, fintech, billing, accounting, tax, startups, enterprise business, and platforms.
  • Experience with B2B SEO strategy.
  • Content marketing experience beyond text-based and video content, including interactive content, visual assets, audio content, webinars, and user-generated content (UGC).
  • Multilingual literacy in German, French, Japanese, Italian, and/or Spanish.
  • Experience with localization / translation.
  • Experience with the Contentful CMS.
  • Experience with web UX and design.
  • SQL experience and ability to gather data.
  • Experience working with telemetry and web analytics instrumentation.
  • Bachelor's degree or 4 years relevant experience.
