SEO Intern

Attentive.ai is a fast-growing vertical SaaS firm, funded by Peak XV (Surge), InfoEdge, Vertex Ventures, and Tenacity Ventures that provides innovative software solutions for the construction, landscape, and paving in the United States and Canada. Our mission is to help businesses in this space improve their operations and grow their revenue through our simple & easy-to-use software platforms.

Position Description: We are looking for an SEO Intern to support our content and technical SEO team in improving the organic performance for Attentive.ai that includes both of our product websites - Beam AI and Automeasure. You will work hands-on with audit data, content optimization, AEO, and keyword strategy to help increase our indexed pages, domain authority, organic traffic, and conversion metrics.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Assist in fixing technical SEO issues (orphaned pages, redirects, meta issues)
• Support indexation improvement strategies (robots.txt, sitemap updates, no-index cleanups)
• Help enhance on-page SEO (content, meta tags, H1 optimization, internal linking)
• Conduct keyword research using tools like SEMrush or Ahrefs
• Work with dev team in marketing to ensure proper site structure and mobile SEO fixes
• Analyze competitors’ SEO strategy and derive actionable insights
• Implement and track schema markups (FAQ, Review, Product, etc.)

Required Skills & Experience:

• Basic understanding of technical SEO (indexation, crawlability, meta tags)
• Hands-on with Google Search Console, Google Analytics (GA4)
• Familiarity with on-page SEO (title tags, H1, anchor text)
• Knowledge of tools like Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Surfer SEO
• Understanding of sitemaps, robots.txt, and canonical tags
• Analytical mindset; able to interpret data & propose optimizations
• Proficiency in using Excel/Google Sheets for reporting
• Exposure to structured data/schema implementation
• Knowledge of HTML basics for troubleshooting SEO issues
• Basic understanding of mobile-first design and Core Web Vitals
• Familiarity with backlink analysis and disavow strategies
• Aware of AI integration in SEO and tools like ChatGPT or Gemini for content ideation
