Job Description

We are seeking a talented and driven SEO and Copywriting Specialist to join our small but mighty marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating compelling, high-quality written content that aligns with SEO best practices, driving both organic traffic and engagement. You will work closely with the marketing team and our business leaders to optimize content for search engines while maintaining a clear and consistent brand voice across all digital platforms.


Key Responsibilities:

  • SEO Strategy & Implementation

    :
  • Conduct keyword research to identify high-traffic, relevant keywords and phrases.
  • Optimize on-page SEO elements, including title tags, meta descriptions, headers, and images.
  • Perform regular audits of website content to ensure it aligns with SEO best practices and make necessary updates.
  • Track and analyse SEO performance metrics, including search rankings, organic traffic, and conversion rates, using tools like Google Analytics and SEMrush
  • Copywriting & Content Creation

    :
  • Write engaging, high-quality copy for website landing pages, email campaigns, social media posts, and more
  • Craft compelling headlines, CTAs, and persuasive copy that enhances user experience and drives conversions.
  • Contribute creative ideas for campaign development
  • Ensure all content aligns with the organisation's mission and value
  • Content Optimization

    :
  • Edit and proofread copy to ensure it is grammatically correct, clear, and aligned with the brand voice.
  • Implement best practices for content formatting, including keyword placement, internal linking, and content structure, to improve SEO ranking.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, search engine algorithm updates, and content marketing best practices to continuously improve content strategies.
  • Reporting & Analysis

    :
  • Prepare regular reports on SEO and content performance, analysing key metrics and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Utilize A/B testing to optimize the effectiveness of content and landing pages.


Key Skills and Qualifications:

·      Proven experience (1-3 years) in SEO, copywriting, or content marketing.

  • Strong understanding of SEO principles and techniques, including keyword research, on-page SEO, and technical SEO.
  • Proficient in using SEO tools such as Google Analytics and SEMrush
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to write clear, concise, and engaging content tailored to different audiences.
  • Familiarity with content management systems (e.g., WordPress) and basic HTML.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
