Our Client is seeking a SEO Content Marketing Manager to support global content marketing. This individual will play a key role in growing the SEO program at client, leading the strategy in their respective area in close partnership with the Global SEO Lead. The scope includes leading the international content roadmap for article and video content, promotion and distribution, building repeatable processes, optimizing existing content, and performance reporting.
To provide tailored SEO strategy for each geo, this individual will lead the coordination of global and local content strategy in partnership with German, French, Japanese, Italian, and Spanish resources. They will lead the development of systems to operate efficiently across regions. While this individual must be well-versed in all aspects of SEO, their role will have a small emphasis on technical SEO and link building. The individuals will have the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional partners, including Growth Marketing, Product Marketing, Content Marketing, Engineering, Product, and Data Science at the company.
Responsibilities

Content operations (articles and videos):
lead the day-to-day operations with quality and scale. This includes leading the execution of international content roadmaps. -
Content optimization:
optimize existing pieces of content to improve performance. -
Content promotion and distribution:
develop on-going, and repeatable strategies to promote and distribute content to increase performance. -
Performance reporting:
analyze and report on KPIs to track progress and identify opportunities for further enhancement.
Top Requirements
Minimum requirements:
- 4 years of experience creating and executing SEO strategy.
- Ability to create a compelling content marketing roadmap meeting program growth targets and GTM business objectives. This spans from identifying strategic customer pain points to conducting keyword research, delivering content briefs to copy writers, and seeing-through to the delivery of the final product.
- Well-versed in SEO content production best practices, roadmap creation, topic selection, brand messaging, and voice/tone guidelines.
- High attention to detail, ensuring precision and accuracy in all tasks while maintaining consistent quality in work output.
- Strong international SEO skills, including ability to develop coordinated global and local content and hreflang tags.
- Proficient in content management system (CMS) infrastructure as it pertains to content marketing, with 3 years of direct experience. Ability to understand the connection between user-experience and CMS, and apply this to deliver positive content marketing outcomes.
- Intermediate technical SEO skills with the ability to identify opportunities and interface directly with software engineers.
- Strong experience creating performance reporting and measuring success, with emphasis on content marketing reporting.
- Ability to work extensively in Google Drive apps (Docs, Sheets, Slides), Excel, Looker, Tableau, Google Analytics and other reporting software.
- Experience managing stakeholders, with the ability to handle multiple work streams and requests from a variety of stakeholders, balancing each of them to deliver on the true north objectives of the program and business.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills (written and verbal) to effectively execute strategies and share with stakeholders.
- Strong experience using a variety of SEO tools, including Google Search Console, Google Keyword Planner, SEMRush, ScreamingFrog, YouTube Studio, vidIQ etc.
- Motivated self-starter, demonstrating the ability to take initiative, problem-solve independently, and carry out tasks with minimal supervision.
- Proficient in professional English literacy.
