Job Description

Role & responsibilities

1. External Communications & Brand Management:

  • Develop and implement a holistic external communications strategy to strengthen EFL's Brand identity and thought leadership in the NBFC space.
  • Craft compelling narratives around our products, values, and success stories for various channels, including all Branding & Marketing initiatives.
  • Manage website content & ensure that all messaging is consistent with the overall Brand strategy, is optimized to attract our target audience, and effectively guides users toward specific business goals.
  • Oversee the company's social presence, including Meta, LinkedIn, Quora and other relevant platforms, ensuring consistent and impactful messaging.
  • Conceptualize and manage content for industry events, webinars, and conferences.
  • Handle crisis communication with poise and ensure Brand reputation is protected.

2. Internal Communications & Employee Engagement:

  • Develop and execute a strategic internal communications plan to foster a transparent, collaborative, and high-performance culture.
  • Act as the primary channel for cascading key business updates, leadership messages, and organizational changes to all employees.
  • Create engaging internal content (e.g., newsletters, intranet updates, leadership videos, internal podcasts) to keep the workforce informed, motivated, and connected to the company's mission.
  • Manage internal communication platforms and tools & support other departments to ensure effective and timely dissemination of information.
  • Partner with HR to drive employee engagement initiatives, change management communications, and reinforce company values.

3. Marketing & Campaign Management:

  • Work closely with the Business teams to develop integrated Marketing campaigns that generate high-quality leads and support business objectives.
  • Oversee the creation of all Marketing collateral, including sales presentations, product brochures, and client testimonials.
  • Leverage market insights and competitor analysis to refine messaging and identify new opportunities.

4. Team & Agency Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a small team of Marketing and Communication professionals.
  • Manage relationships with external agencies, including Advertising, PR, Digital Marketing, and project-based creative partners, ensuring high-quality deliverables and trackable ROI.

Preferred candidate profile

We are seeking a strategic and dynamic Marketing Communications Manager / Lead to architect and execute our integrated communications strategy. This pivotal role demands a seasoned professional who can seamlessly bridge our external Brand narrative with a robust internal culture. You will be the custodian of the EFL Brand, responsible for enhancing our market position, building trust with all stakeholders, and ensuring our internal team is aligned, informed, and engaged.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Master's Degree in Mass Communications, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3 to 14 years of proven experience

    in a hands-on Marketing communications role, with a

    demonstrable track record in both external and internal communications.

  • Prior experience in the

    BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, Insurance) or NBFC sector is highly preferred,

    though not mandatory

    .

    Must handle confidential information with the utmost integrity.
