Key Responsibilities

Perform hands-on monitoring using IBM OMEGAMON for:
z/OS CICS DB2 IMS Storage
Configure dashboards, alerts, thresholds, and performance views
Monitor system KPIs, utilization metrics, and health trends
Analyze performance data and escalate issues to respective teams
Support incident resolution and participate in RCA discussions
Generate daily/weekly monitoring & performance reports
Integrate OMEGAMON with enterprise monitoring tools such as:
Netcool Splunk Grafana
Lead and mentor junior monitoring engineers in the team.

Required Skills

Strong hands-on expertise with
IBM OMEGAMON Suite
Knowledge of SMF, RMF, and WLM metrics
Experience in performance monitoring and analysis
Good understanding of mainframe operational environments
Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills

Good to Have

Basic knowledge of REXX or JCL
Understanding of ITIL processes
Exposure to enterprise monitoring / observability tools.
