Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain

  custom Shopify themes, apps, and integrations

  tailored to business requirements.
• Enhance Shopify store performance, user experience, and checkout flow.
• Collaborate with designers and product managers to create responsive, SEO-optimized web solutions.
• Lead and mentor junior developers, ensuring high coding standards and best practices.
• Integrate APIs, third-party apps, and backend systems with Shopify.
• Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and security.
• Stay updated with the latest Shopify and web development trends.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

• 5+ years of web development experience

  , including

  2+ years with Shopify

  (themes, Liquid, Shopify Plus, app development).
• Strong front-end skills:

  JavaScript (ES6+), React.js / Vue.js, HTML5, CSS3, Tailwind/Bootstrap

  .
• Back-end experience with

  Node.js, PHP/Laravel, or Python/Django

  .
• Proficiency in

  Shopify Liquid, APIs, and headless Shopify setups

  .
• Hands-on experience with

  databases

  (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Familiarity with

  REST APIs, GraphQL, and eCommerce payment gateways

  .
• Knowledge of

  Git, CI/CD, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)

  .

Preferred Skills

• Experience with

  Shopify Plus and headless commerce (Hydrogen/Next.js)

  .
• Understanding of

  SEO, analytics, and conversion optimization

  in eCommerce.
• Prior experience in

  eCommerce, retail, or digital agency environments

  .
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
