Position Overview

Roles and Responsibilities:

The incumbent will be responsible for the following:

• The SVC should lead coaching teams & coach venture teams (Faculty/Alumni/Students) assigned to them and fulfil all requirements for completing RSG (NU-IDEA Ready, Set, Go) Program.
• The SVC should play a significant role in mentoring coaches within their teams.
• The SVC should lead the development of strategic plans to create and maintain health pipeline of Innovations/ideas in their respective disciplines.
• The SVC should lead and conduct relevant outreach activities, workshops, master classes, etc. to attract Faculty/Alumni/Student to be part of the RSG program.
• The SVC should provide handholding to the venture teams from the Pre-Incubator/RSG Program and help them to successfully transition to
• Incubation/Acceleration.
• The SVC should lead the conduct of relevant activities to attract Faculty/Alumni/Student to be part of the RSG program.
• The SVC should provide inputs to enhance innovation & entrepreneurship education/training activities.
• The SVC should develop and coordinate outreach activities to bring traction to VDC program.
• The SVC should drive outreach activities to bring more traction to the VDC.
• The SVC should actively utilize and continuously enhance quality of the venture mentor network for the benefit of venture teams.
• The SVC should ensure continuous personal and professional development of VCs and AVCs in their teams in partnership.
• The SVC should lead the active and effective utilization of all ecosystem elements to drive value added delivery from the venture teams.

Interpersonal skills

• The SVC should be a dynamic and effective leader and an expert coach/mentor.
• The SVC should develop at least working knowledge of the disciplines in which they work.
• The SVC should be experienced in entrepreneurship skill development and should have a thorough understanding of the ecosystem.
• The SVC should be fully versed in and actively utilize the pre-incubation process to drive successful outcomes. Experience in an educational or research organization is highly desirable.
• The SVC should have the skills to handhold and help transition teams from pre-incubation to incubation/acceleration.
• The SVC should ideally be a proactive individual with excellent communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications & Work Experience:

• An SVC should possess minimum of an MBA Degree with consistently good/outstanding academic record from India or abroad, with at least.
• 5-7 years of experience working in an entrepreneurship or pre-incubation environment, preferably in an educational or research organization.
• Industry experience in innovation management and entrepreneurship development is highly desirable.
