Senior Utility Engineer

Role & responsibilities

Boiler & Steam Systems

• Co-ordination with boiler operator and plant for steam availability on time
• Conduct water analysis, chemical treatments, and periodic testing for efficiency and safety.
• Coordinate boiler inspections and repairs as per IBR guidelines.
• Manage boiler water treatment including blowdown and condensate systems

Chillers & HVAC Systems

• Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain chillers, HVAC, and refrigeration systems.
• Perform routine testing, calibration, and repairs to optimize performance.
• Handle HVAC and cooling tower pumps, fans, and filters.

Air Compressors & Pneumatic Systems

• Maintain and troubleshoot air compressor systems, dryers, and related control circuits
• Ensure compressors operate efficiently and troubleshoot faults.
• Timely arranging spares for scheduled maintenance of air compressor (AMC)

Plumbing & Water Systems

• Oversee plumbing systems, water pumps, rainwater harvesting, and water treatment systems.
• Manage firefighting and emergency water supply systems.

ETP/STP & Wastewater Coordination

• Coordinate with Operations & Maintenance (O&M) for effluent treatment plant (ETP) and sewage treatment plant (STP) operations.
• Monitor effluent discharge, maintain compliance, and resolve operational issues.

Maintenance & Optimization

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance.
• Suggest improvements for energy efficiency and cost savings.
• Maintain documentation, logs, and reports related to utility systems.

Skills

• Experience in plant utilities, HVAC, boilers, and water treatment systems.
• Familiarity with computer systems, SAP ERP, MS Office, troubleshooting procedures, and safety standards.
• Good communication, supervisory, and coordination skills.
• Some knowledge of energy management, and environmental and safety regulations

This is a shift-based role, and candidates must be willing to work across all three shifts.

Prefer hands on experience of Maintenance & Operation of Utility (Boiler, Chiller, Compressor, HVAC Etc.)
