Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities

Perform thermal and hydraulic calculations utilizing basic theories and existing procedures for preliminary sizing of Heat Exchangers. Knowledge in Air cooler design will be plus point but not mandatory.
Evaluate client specifications and requirements.
Evaluate PFD, P&ID and Instrumentation and Control requirements.
Utilize generic/proprietary programs to design/rate HX/ACE.
Experience in CFD and interpretation of the results for implementation will be plus point but not mandatory .
Leading the drive for innovation in thermal engineering field.
Taking responsibility for inter-disciplinary coordination in proposals and projects.
Involve in skill development activities, guidance to less experienced resources.
Site visits for HX-related technical requirement.
Maintain proposal and job files in accordance with company procedures and practices.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

Basic Qualifications

Engineering graduate with minimum 10+ years of experience with design of fired heaters.
Good understanding of heat transfer, fluid dynamics, heat and material balance. Knowledge of fluid properties generation in Pro/II, HISYS is a plus.
Knowledge of heat transfer equipment and TEMA, ASME, API codes and standards relevant to HX
Knowledge in programming is a plus.
Strong communication skills and people skills are a must.
