Job Description

Senior Test Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute
manual and automated test cases
for web, mobile, and backend systems.
Lead
test planning, strategy, and execution
across multiple releases.
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps to ensure
test coverage and quality standards
.
Build and maintain
test automation frameworks
(Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, etc.).
Conduct
functional, regression, performance, security, and usability testing
.
Identify, document, and track
bugs/defects
using industry-standard tools (JIRA, TestRail, etc.).
Ensure
CI/CD integration of automated test suites
for faster releases.
Mentor and guide junior QA/test engineers, sharing best practices.
Drive adoption of
quality-first culture
across engineering teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in
Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
.
5+ years of experience in
software testing and QA
.
Strong experience in
test automation frameworks
(Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, JUnit, TestNG).
Proficiency in
programming/scripting languages
(Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#).
Strong knowledge of
SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies
.
Experience in
API testing
(Postman, REST Assured, SOAP UI).
Familiarity with
CI/CD pipelines
(Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
Solid understanding of
performance and load testing tools
(JMeter, Locust, Gatling).

Nice-to-Have Skills

Experience in
mobile app testing
(iOS/Android).
Knowledge of
security testing practices
.
Exposure to
cloud-based testing platforms
(BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).
Background in
DevOps/Shift-Left testing practices
.
