Job Description

To lead and manage our tendering activities for infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the tendering process, government regulations, and industry practices, coupled with strong leadership and strategic thinking abilities. This role is critical for driving business growth through successful tender submissions and ensuring the company's competitiveness in the infrastructure development consulting space.

Key Responsibilities:

Pre-Tendering Activities:

  • Identify upcoming tenders and opportunities in the infrastructure sector.
  • Conduct market research and feasibility studies to assess potential projects and align them with organizational goals.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, clients, and industry partners, to gain insights into project requirements and tender notices.

Tender Management:

  • Oversee the entire tendering process for railway infrastructure projects, including opportunity identification, bid preparation, submission, and post-submission follow-ups.
  • Analyze tender documents, technical specifications, and contractual terms to assess project feasibility and risks.

Coordination and Collaboration:

  • Liaise with multidisciplinary teams (technical, legal, financial, and marketing) to ensure comprehensive and competitive bids.
  • Engage with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to clarify project requirements and build strong relationships.

Cost Estimation and Pricing:

  • Lead the preparation of detailed cost estimates and pricing strategies, ensuring optimal profitability while maintaining competitiveness.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor pricing to inform decision-making.

Compliance and Documentation:

  • Ensure all tender submissions comply with legal, technical, and quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate and organized documentation related to bids, contracts, and project milestones.

Risk Assessment:

  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with tendering and project execution.
  • Provide inputs on contractual terms and negotiate favorable agreements when necessary.
