Job Description

1. Job Summary

The Telecaller is responsible for making outbound calls to prospective customers/students, handling inbound inquiries, providing information about products or services, and converting leads into sales or appointments. The role requires strong communication skills, persistence, and a customer-focused approach.

2. Key ResponsibilitiesA. Calling & Lead Management

  • Make outbound calls to prospective customers/leads provided by the company.
  • Handle inbound calls and respond to customer queries with accurate information.
  • Generate interest, qualify leads, and schedule appointments or follow-ups.
  • Maintain call logs and update CRM/Excel sheets regularly.

B. Communication & Customer Handling

  • Explain products/services, pricing, features, and benefits clearly.
  • Understand customer needs and recommend suitable solutions.
  • Build rapport and maintain a positive relationship with customers.
  • Follow up on leads to ensure maximum conversion.

C. Sales / Conversion

  • Meet daily and monthly calling targets.
  • Convert qualified leads into sales, registrations, or appointments (as per business requirement).
  • Achieve individual and team targets consistently.

D. Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate records of calls, inquiries, and lead status.
  • Prepare daily/weekly reports for supervisors.
  • Ensure all customer information is kept confidential.

3. Qualifications & SkillsEducation

Graduation preferred.

Experience

  • 1–2 years of experience in telesales/telecalling/customer service (freshers can apply).

Skills Required

  • Excellent verbal communication in Hindi/English (or regional language if applicable).
  • Good listening and convincing skills.
  • Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, CRM use).
  • Positive attitude, patience, and ability to work under pressure.
