Job Description

Job SummaryThe Collection Executive is responsible for recovering outstanding payments from customers, ensuring timely follow-up, maintaining accurate records, and resolving billing or payment-related issues. The role focuses on reducing delinquency, improving cash flow, and maintaining positive customer relationships. Key Responsibilities Contact customers via phone, email, SMS, and field visits (if applicable) to collect outstanding payments. Follow up on overdue accounts and ensure payments are received within defined timelines. Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, payment commitments, and follow-up actions. Explain billing details, account statements, and payment terms to customers. Negotiate and finalize payment plans or settlements when required. Ensure compliance with company policies, legal guidelines, and regulatory standards. Escalate complex cases or disputes to the supervisor for resolution. Coordinate with sales, finance, and customer service teams to resolve customer queries. Prepare daily/weekly collection reports and update the system regularly. Meet monthly collection targets and contribute to the overall performance of the department.
